STUDENT JURY: LODZ
Martyna Gonciarz is a student of Film Studies at the University of Lodz and a member of the Film Studies Student Research Group of the University. Member of Polish Animation Research Group, interested in distribution of Polish animated films. She is an enthusiast of the Czechoslovak New Wave and the history of animation. In the presented films, she will pay attention to innovative experiments with animation techniques and look for topics of social importance.
Maciej Kujawski is a film student of Film Studies at the University of Lodz and a member of the Film Studies Student Research Group of the University. He is primarily interested in genre and popular cinema, but not only. A big fan of western, noir, horror, gangster, samurai films and martial arts. He is especially enthusiast of Polish, Italian, American and Japanese Cinema. In the presented films, he wiil look for creative energy, perfect control over pace, drama, skillful transfer of valuable morals into a suitable form of animation.
Adam Sołtys is a student of Film Studies at the University of Łódź and a member of the Film Studies Student Research Group of the University. He is a huge fan of horror movies, and he is mostly focused on history of this genre and its various subgenres. Also, he is an enthusiast of South Korean cinema, Japanese animation and manga, and also music and video games. He values StopTrik Festival primarily for the fact that it promotes stop motion animation, which is his favorite animation technique.
