StopTrik at Summer Puppet Pier Festival

Co-creating this year’s 31st Summer Puppet Pier Festival.

Just before the 10th edition of the StopTrik festival in the October, we are offering you animated films already in the summer. You will see six short, visually diverse tales from the animal kingdom. Distributed by “Društvo 2 koluta”.

With selection of the animated shorts for the youngest viewers “Tales from the animal kingdom” you are kindly invited join us for the screening on Friday August 14th at 17.00 at the great hall of Maribor Puppet Theatre.

We are preparing for the 10th edition, which will take place in Maribor in October. For adults, this time, we present nine short animations, which show a variety of themes, narratives, and aesthetic approaches, mostly using puppet animation. The program presents the outstanding achievements of contemporary European and Latin American animators.

With a selection of the animated shorts “Stories of Revived Puppets” we are providing some Sunday activities for you. You are kindly invited join us for the screening on Sunday August 16th at 19.00 at the great hall of Maribor Puppet Theatre.
