Miloš Tomić exhibition in K18
Last month Gallery K18 hosted an exhibition of animated miniatures by Mioš Tomić “Keep a copy, remember the original” - the author's visual reflection on transience. It is a multi-layered, but rounded, personal interpretation of the photographic elements of the author's own photographic collection and the photographic legacy of the Maribor photographer and collector Dragiša Modrinjak. Through collage animation, Tomić plays with the past through the prism of the present, surprises with many unexpected results, and reveals the hidden. He gives new life to archival exhibits through animation, revives frozen moments in photography, and gives freedom to liveliness through himself.
As a reward for the best visual identity and trailer idea for last year's edition of the festival he also prepared gallery’s facade.
