Outcomes of the festival workshops

During the 10th StopTrik International film festival in Maribor there were three workshops - StopTrik Workshot: Children's animated film workshop with Anka Kočevar, StopTrik Workshot: Špela Čadež and Sharpening the Gaze with Maja Krajnc.

StopTrik Workshot: Children's animated film workshop with Anka Kočevar

Young animators under mentorship of Anka Kočevar and with a help of Brina Fekonja and Nina Plevnjak persistently animated geometric characters with painting on the glass. Revived by using a soundtrack prepared by Denis Oprešnik. The characters went to the woods, heading for adventures.

StopTrik Workshot: Špela Čadež

The product of the festival workshop is entitled "Animation as a weapon". Different techniques, approaches and stories were developed by participants through learning with direct work. They have been working with the main topic of this year's festival and in the technique of stop motion animation materialized their association. The workshop was held under the mentorship of renowned Slovenian animator Špela Čadež, assisted by Hana Repše and Vojka Miklavc.

Sharpening the Gaze with Maja Krajnc

For the first time this year we host KINO revija za film in filmsko with their film-educational program Sharpening the gaze (Ostrenje pogleda).

The workshop and this year's student jury was menthored by dr. Maja Krajnc with the help of Kristian Božak Kavčič. The gaze was sharpening on the topics of our animations by Urška Kleindienst, Zala Žagar, Jošt Šeško, Blaž Štolar in Jakob Vogrinec.
