Xi Chen (1985)

is a multi-skilled artist who spends his life creating fictional worlds that deal with the present and personal experience. He is an expert in painting and a maker of animation. Xi Chen started making short and later feature-length animations in 2013. Xi Chen is one of the few people (if not the only one) who can make feature animation entirely by oneself, from concept art, story and asset production, all aspects of sound, every frame of animation, all the way to the final DCP. Films that weren't supposed to be made can now be made. Xi Chen is one of the few people in the world who has made a "Double Official Selection" at the same film festival (two different works enter the same year's edition), and Xi Chen's works have made 4 Double Official Selections with different festivals.
