Daniel Denzer, Alessa Wolfram, Rita Weiss and Marius Oelsch

They are all at the very end of their master’s degree in Digital Arts (2020 - 2022) at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria for which they decided to create Shroomsday as their graduation project. Alessa, Marius and Rita had already met before during their previous course of studies Media Technology and Design (2017 - 2020) at the same university in Hagenberg im Mühlkreis while Daniel worked on his bachelor’s in Animation Design (2016 - 2019) at the mAHS (media Akademie Stuttgart). / Ideal for their teamwork was, that each of them focuses on different fields of the 3D pipeline. While Marius is excellent at any organizational task and enjoys playing a technical role, like setting up node systems and generating simulations, the others took over some more creative parts. Alessa’s involvement on the visual outcome shows especially in her character designs, light setups and camera work, but also in some modelling, texturing and animations of the final film. Because of her broadly spread interests, she intends to work as a 3d generalist after graduation. Daniel, who was responsible for the environment design and created most of its assets, has also gained some professional experience in the creation of 3d environments on the side of university. Most of the scenes were either completely or to the most part animated by Rita as she is always up for the challenge of bringing characters to life and deepen her skills in character animation.
