Animacija obravnava vlogo lesa v vsakdanjem življenju skozi stoletja in komentira vpliv potrošništva na naše življenje. Tehnika temelji na postopnem izrezovanju podob v velik hlod in pa vzporednem dodajanju lesenih predmetov, ki navidezno vznikajo iz debla. 

The animation examines the role of wood in everyday life through the ages and comments on the impact of consumerism on our lives. The technique is based on gradually carving images into a large log and at the same time adding wooden objects that seemingly emerge from the trunk.

Owen Klatte

was drawn to animation by the wonderfully strange and beautiful independent films seen in international film festivals. "Of Wood" is Klatte's first independent animation project since college, fulfilling a decades-old dream. Not being very good at drawing, he began his career in stop motion animation and then migrated to CGI, working professionally as a Character Animator and Animation Director in feature films, commercials, television, and special venue projects.
